St. Pattie hat!

St. Patrick's Day hat

I prepped this ahead of time and then they assembled and glued it all

Got this great St. P hat idea from teaching 2 and 3 year olds

then measured their heads and attached with staples.

Rainbow meets water colors!

Rainbows take 3 & 4

First we water colored with 1/2 a coffee filter, dried out markers and water

This is their take on a rainbow, love it!!

Next we took a print out of a rainbow some paint

and an old gift card

and smeared the paint around the rainbow

turned out pretty cool!!

Rainbows everywhere!

3D Rainbows!

I loved this idea from Teach Preschool

Everyone got a strip of each color

put glue on the tip of each end, made a mountain and held it for 10 sec

I love how unique each one looks!

St. Patrick's Theme

We had some fun with green!

used green, and blue and yellow to make green.

At first they were confused what to do with the brushes but quickly caught on!

Some tapped, some scrubbed, some smacked.

R is for rainbow

This week we are doing rainbows and green for St. Patrick's Theme because we are on spring break next week

Today we made a fruit loop rainbow

Some did the same color in the row, others  made their own design

They loved that they got to play with their food though I think they really just wanted to eat it!!

St. Patrick's sensory bin

The kids loved playing with the St. Patrick's Bin!

I love going to the Dollar Tree for all the theme items I need!!

Made this mini bin with green glass rocks, light up shamrocks and lil green bowls

you can see them lighting up in this pic!

Rice Party!

I threw together this purple sensory bin in about 5 minutes

for a 1 1/2 hours of fun!! The kids love it!

The only reason they stopped was for lunch!

This is the after math! So worth it!

We also played with some homemade playdough. Notice the purple theme in full effect!

Homemade is so much easier for the kids to manipulate.

J is for Jellyfish

Letter J...

This week was J for jellyfish so we made a jellyfish out of paper plates.

Our color this week was purple we learned the purple song and painted the jellyfish purple!!
