Transportation theme

More oldies!!

They colored the plane,

spread out and glued the cotton balls

Then added the plane!

Then they decided to add houses and other things under the clouds!!
I love when their imagination takes over!!

Here we separated the tables and made our own airplane!!

They took turns being the pilot!

We colored a train

then added train tracks!!

This page they had to put the transportation in the correct location

of course they nailed it!!

This was the miniature version for the tots!!

Mail Carrier theme

More photos from Feb 2013
The kids really loved the mail theme!!

We did a mail sort!

The mail was marked with a red #1, a yellow #2 and a blue #3

We made a mail box out of the mega blocks!! That was a super hit!!

We made post cards for our family and friends!

We made stamps and glued them on!

Then we made extra post cards and stamps and laminated them!

We put velcro on so they could remove the stamps also!!

We even went to the post office and mail letters we made to our friend who had moved away!!

P is for Penguin

Letter P week

We used our scissor skill to decorate a penguin

just cut up some black strips and let them cut them into little squares

Then do the same with the white and let them color their nose with an orange maker

then you get these cut lil penguins!!

We made a penguin out of different size oval shapes

and a triangle nose and painted a white belly on to the penguin

They turned out very cute and so simple!!

We made a penguin not pad and wrote our letter P

Letter Q

Q is for painting with "Q-tips"

Some dabbed with the Q-tip

Others just just used it like a paint brush!

We also did a cut and paste and an itsy bitsy book for the letter Q

We also paint stamped with quarters!

I just hot glued a quarter onto a knex and now we have a nice handle for our stamp!

I love using different utensils to paint with!!

Last but not least...

We used salt puff paint to paint our very own quilts!!

For some reason I did not take an all finished pic of their quilts :(
