Groundhog week

Groundhogs on the loose!

We first looked at photos of groundhogs

Then we dumped out the mega blocks tub and pretended to be grounghogs burrowing in the ground hybernating.

Then came up on Feb. 2nd and saw our shadows and ran back down.

The kids had so much fun pretending to be groundhogs that when I was cooking lunch they used the mega blocks we had dumped out to build homes for the groundhogs (stuffed animals).
